The All Stars Kids Club is a holiday program for children aged 5 – 15 years old,
who have a physical and or intellectual disabilities. The program runs every
school holidays from 8.30am – 3.00pm and is based at Shirley Intermediate

The All Stars Kids Club needs student volunteers who:
 Have a desire to work with children who have special needs
 Have a positive and inclusive attitude
 Are reliable and punctual
 Have a willingness to learn and try new things
 Have the ability to follow instructions
 Are able to mix well with others and be a team player
 Like to have a bit of fun

“What Now” TV Show – Jobs

We are looking for a team of enthusiastic, condent, diverse, chatty and fun 15-18 year olds to answer kids phone calls, set up video calls and be part of the onscreen fun.

We need people who can get up early and be alert to be on What now every Sunday morning for 40 weeks from the 28 February till the 28 November 2021.

If you like to talk, have great energy and are reliable to work Sunday 7-10:30am for 40 weeks then get in touch by Monday 15 February 9am.

YMCA – Volunteer Leaders Needed for Holiday Programmes

The YMCA Christchurch runs 8 holiday programmes and 5 camps each school holiday period. The children range from 5-15 years of age, and enjoy a huge range of activities such as swimming, mini golf, circus school, driving range, blow karts etc. We have programmes specialising in Performing Arts, Creative Arts, Technology, Leadership and Sports. Our camps have a range of activities such as high ropes courses, coasteerring, orienteering, giant swings and flying foxes all the way to full 5 day hikes.

Our programmes are not possible without the help of our volunteer leaders, who help to look after the children, create lasting relationships and just simply have lots of fun with the kids.

This opportunity is great for your CV and you will be provided with a certificate of hours, a written and/or verbal reference, these are great, especially when applying for jobs in childcare, scholarships for university and halls of residence.YMCA School Holiday Volunteer

Front of house staff

  • Wait staff, bar staff, baristas

Back of house staff

  • Sandwich makers, Kitchen hands, stock runners, driver

 Shifts start from around 10am, and will finish between 6pm and 7.30pm. 

$20.41 – $21 per hour depending on the role (holiday pay inclusive).
