YMCA – Volunteer Leaders Needed for Holiday Programmes

The YMCA Christchurch runs 8 holiday programmes and 5 camps each school holiday period. The children range from 5-15 years of age, and enjoy a huge range of activities such as swimming, mini golf, circus school, driving range, blow karts etc. We have programmes specialising in Performing Arts, Creative Arts, Technology, Leadership and Sports. Our camps have a range of activities such as high ropes courses, coasteerring, orienteering, giant swings and flying foxes all the way to full 5 day hikes.

Our programmes are not possible without the help of our volunteer leaders, who help to look after the children, create lasting relationships and just simply have lots of fun with the kids.

This opportunity is great for your CV and you will be provided with a certificate of hours, a written and/or verbal reference, these are great, especially when applying for jobs in childcare, scholarships for university and halls of residence.YMCA School Holiday Volunteer
